Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty is a cosmetic surgery procedure utilized to reduce bagginess in the lower eyelids and remove excess skin from the upper eyelids. This is also commonly referred to as an “Eye Lift.”

• Local or general anesthesia may be used
• Surgeon makes a series of incisions in the eyelids
• Through the incisions, the surgeon separates the skin from the underlying tissue and removes excess fat, skin and sometimes muscle
• Tiny stitches are used to close the incisions
